Hungary
Bridges and buildings. Danube and river cruises. Buda and Pest. Off gas station shelves, light and easy wines. City squares and sprawling steppe, birdlife and Balaton lake, open-air museums and vintage churches, including, of all things, a mosque-church. Hungary, vivid and majestic. Grand. With a dreamlike atmospheric that infused itself in the photographs I made. In the gentle, crisp light of a bearably cold March-April season.
